Born in the Netherlands, Matteo began his acting career in 2002 and has since appeared in a variety of productions, including theater, television, and film. His stage credits include roles in productions of "Hamlet," "Othello," and "The Importance of Being Earnest," among others.
On screen, Matteo has also made an impact with his performances, appearing in several Dutch films and television shows. He played a lead role in the crime series "Penoza," which was later remade as "Queen of the South" for American audiences. He also appeared in the thriller "Loft" and the romantic comedy "Hartenstraat."
Matteo's talent as an actor has earned him critical acclaim and recognition from his peers. He has been nominated for several awards, including a Golden Calf for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Loft."
